MITTI KI GAADI (MRICHCHAKATIKA)
Mitti ki Gaadi was a 1958 Hindustani adaptation by Habib Tanvir of the famous Sanskrit classic, 'Mrichchakatika' (The Little Clay Cart). Kusum played the role of Madanika in this play produced by the Hindustani Theatre of Begum Zaidi.
Mrichchakatika, also produced in 2000 by the Television and Theatre Associates, was directed by Amal Allana, with Kusum Haidar and Manohar Singh in the main roles.

THE SEAGULL
Kusum and Bhaskar Ghose in 'The Seagull' by Anton Chekov. Directed and designed by Joy Michael, 1967. The skilful direction and perfect acting were among the outstanding features of this production. The keynote was one of simplicity. The accent was on the acting and developing the relationships between the characters, around which the story moves.
